My Getting Healthy Path

I started my journey on January 29, 2010 by starting the Medifast program. I have already lost 25 pounds and am continuing to lose. I still have over 70 pounds to lose to reach my goal. I also have dropped 2 sizes, going from a size 22 to a size 18. People who know me are also finally starting to notice this loss. I am so pleased! Some days are easier than others, but so far, I have not gone off plan at all. The thing I think I miss most is having a glass of red wine with dinner but I'm willing to give it up to lose weight. I want to be healthy.

I have rheumatoid arthritis which has made weight loss very hard for me in the past. This is working. I can now start walking because the pain in my knees and feet is pretty much gone. I also have type II diabetes and am hoping this resolves, also.

Something that has changed the most, has been my craving sweets. I no longer want sweet things and find even some of my Medifast meals too sweet. How great is that? Me, the sugar addict.
